Wheat Kernel Webquest
Purpose of the Lesson
The purpose of this Webquest is to teach students why whole wheat products are healthier than refined wheat products. Students also research the parts of a kernel that provide the nutritious properties. This Webquest encourages an application onto their own diets and develops new vocabulary. It would be best for an agricultural science, agricultural biology, or nutrition class.
Lesson Objectives
Students will utilize laptops or chromebooks to participate in the Webquest. This is a fun way for students to review information and work independently. This is targeted for our older students, but if the younger grade levels are able to participate-- great!

G3.2 Label the seed’s essential parts and describe their functions.
